The room smelled strongly of mold, was constantly damp, and there was very little follow up done by staff in regards to a noise complaint.
Everything!!! I would say. The staff was very cooperative, the services were very prompt, the room was clean when we arrived the first time and every time after a long day's journey back to hotel and the beds and the feel of the hotel and room were very comfortable Also, amongst the other similar-starred hotels, the value for money was unbelievable. It was right on! I would say that the best part was the location, right beside the Metro/Bus station at Berri Uquam. What else a traveler, visiting the city, could ask for?
Lol....no complaints. Nothing that appeared was not meant to be. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely come again and recommend all of my friends and family about this hotel.
double bed room are quite big are confortable. the inside room are quiet the front desk is very helpfull
we should have a fridge in the room
The hotel was within walking distance of Old Montreal.
The walls are not sound-proof!
Poor industrial breakfest
The one ice machine is inconvenient.
very close to dining and gay nightlife
found black hair in the hair dryer and one in the tub
the price and service
the room had a musty smell and the area was dangerous esp. at night but it was central
The location of the hotel is just next to Berri-UQAM metro station, very convenient for travelling around the city.
The hotel is a bit smelly and noisy (next to bus station), but not a big deal.
The staff was very helpful -- in both French and English. Breakfast was acceptable.
The bathroom was in disrepair and looked rather shabby. They were kind enough to hold our luggage for us in a closet, but there were rodent droppings on the floor of the closet. There was a parking garage, but when we arrived at 2:30 pm, it was already full forcing us to look for parking a block away. Overall, it was acceptable, but I paid the same amount for a suite in Quebec City that was 10 times more pleasant.
Location was good.
The air conditioner was running for about 1 minute then we had to wait 5 minutes until it ran again. It was cold for a minute then very hot for five, making it difficult to fall asleep.
Unlike their American counterparts, staff do not do more than the minimum required. For example, my Choice Privileges card would not work and desk clerk shoved the card across the desk and told me to call the main office. In the us, staff performed that courtesy for me. Breakfast selection also poor while hotel was generally grubby.
Good location and quiet surrounds
breakfast provided was a little ordinary.
rooms need rejovenation
The location and the cost of the hotel are the best pros
The elevator was not working and it has only one.
